About Us For more than three decades, the Victoria Women's Clinic has provided Victoria and surrounding areas with the highest professional standards of medical care, in a pleasant environment, and in an atmosphere of mutual trust and confidence. When you arrive at the Clinic, please register at the reception desk. On your first visit, you must complete a health questionnaire, so please arrive 15 minutes early on that first visit. If you have a change of name, address, telephone number, or marital status, please let the Clinic know so that we can keep your records accurate and up-to-date. If you have an emergency, please call the clinic at (361) 578-5233, identify yourself and your problem, and ask to get in touch with your physician. After you call the Clinic, please keep your line open so that your physician can reach you when he or she calls back. Have a paper and pencil handy to write down any instructions your physician might give you. In addition, have the name and phone number of your pharmacy at hand should you require a medical prescription. Payment is expected at the conclusion of each Clinic visit. We accept payment by cash, check, or credit card. Out of concern for general health and cleanliness, we ask that you not smoke in, nor bring food and drinks into, the Clinic. The practice of obstetrics and gynecology requires mutual understanding, respect, and confidentiality. Because the patient-physician relationship is unique, the physicians of Victoria Women's Clinic seek to earn your trust through the months and years that we provide medical care for you. Your medical records are completely confidential. We will not disclose them without your permission. If a non-VWCA physician refers you to us, we normally forward a report of our findings and recommendations to that referring physician. You must sign a form releasing information to third parties (e.g., insurance companies) authorizing release of this confidential information. Our physicians use DeTar Hospital and Citizens Medical Center. Victoria Women's Clinic Victoria Women's Clinic
